Great for starters
To be perfectly honest, I started this program with low expectations. I had been training irregularly for a while and needed consistency. After the first month, I was on board and motivated to complete the training. I left four stars because the nutrition part was difficult to follow and somewhat too prescriptive.
A unique workout
I had trained using fitness programs in the past like shortcut to shred and shortcut to size as well as P90x series and Insanity. Ax-1 is similar but better than P90x in a sense that it incorporates a lot of functional / complex movements in the routine. I found the videos to be very useful and the instructions so clear a monkey can do it. the meal plan was comprehensive but there wasnt room for me to follow it so I didnt capitalize on the nutrition aspect. some people like myself need a structured program like AX-1 to follow through. I thought about repeating AX-1 but will do AX -2 instead next. As in any program, you get what you put in
What makes training camp attractive is the challenge it offers while still being attainable to the person starting out. The instruction is clear and the explanations valid. Another good title to include in the programming.

Clear instructions great for beginners. No fuss approach giving you all the basics for lifting weights. I am in the best shape ever
Great starting point
Always struggled to maintain a workout routine, ax-1 got me there, and I see and feel results even without using the diet plan. Only improvement I’d like to see is an app version rather than browser, also option to log weights in kg instead of lbs. Will definitely be using ax-1 again in future
Excellent starter program
As a very much beginner to working out, this was a great way to get started and see great gains. I would’ve liked a bit more variety in the exercises towards the end; that being said, there really is quite the variety baked into this program, so it’s not too repetitive. Looking forward to the next program in the series already!
Tough but rewarding.
I find this program very fun to follow. I appreciate the focus on athletic training; I wanted something that would help make me more athletic. Suffice it to say I’ve found what I’ve been looking for. Seeing great results so far.
I can appreciate the effort that went into it, but it’s too complicated. New exercises to learn each time, no idea what’s going on and how hard to push, and therefore no way of seeing how much progress you’re making on a weekly basis. I wish I actually learned how to train while going through the program, but I didn’t really have a chance to properly “learn” anything even though I was forced to learn new things every day.
Awesome program that changed my physique with good balance
Ax-1 was tough on my heart and breathing. Not sure if my strength has decreased compared to when I’ve been focusing on body building type weight training. What is clear is my body has become more balanced and less prone to injury. It seems like a good foundation for my lifetime journey to exercising and working out!
